About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Junior Analytics Engineer to join our growing data organization, working in the Business Analytics team in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping our future as a data-first company by building high-quality, well-documented data models that power analytics and decision-making across the organisation.
Sitting at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, you'll transform raw data into reliable, structured datasets that represent core business entities and processes. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and collaborate with teams across Data Engineering, BI, Product Analytics, and Data Science to ensure our data foundation is scalable, trusted, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, own and maintain core data models in dbt
Transform data to accurately represent business entities and processes, creating a foundation for analytics
Apply data tests and unit tests to monitor and prevent data quality issues
Ensure data models are well-documented to facilitate understanding and usage across teams
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills
Knowledge of SQL and dbt
Data modeling skills, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable models
Experience implementing data testing within analytics workflows
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
Problem solving mind set and ability to communicate in both a business and technical context
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in analytics engineering or a related field
Curiosity and drive to expand your skills rapidly in our growing organization
Knowledge of query optimization in large-scale data environments
Familiarity with data governance and documentation best practices
