Global Payroll and People Operations Manager
We’ve signed up to an ambitious journey. Join us!
As Arrive, we guide customers and communities toward brighter futures and more livable cities. This isn't a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen: our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused, and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let's grow better, together.
The Role
Driven by our mission at EasyPark Group—to make cities more livable through our global mobility platform—we're seeking a proactive and experienced Global Payroll and People Operations Manager. You'll play a critical role in transforming our People function, leading a globally based team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across all our global entities. You'll also continuously enhance our HR operations to support our rapidly expanding international workforce. With the recent acquisition of Flowbird, ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the team while we integrate and transform the People function is critical. You'll also help shape future service delivery for our global employee experience, working closely with our transformation team.
Who You Are
You are a proactive and experienced leader with a passion for optimizing global payroll and people operations. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at managing complex, multi-country payroll scenarios. You're a natural mentor who inspires excellence within your team and excels at building strong relationships with stakeholders across various global business units. You're also a strategic thinker, eager to drive continuous improvement and embrace new technologies to enhance efficiency.
You`ll contribute and make an impact through:
Lead the People Platform operations and payroll team members, inspiring and mentoring a large global team of specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
Lead and optimize the end-to-end global payroll process, ensuring strict compliance with all relevant international regulations and internal policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within payroll and people operations worldwide, identifying and implementing automation and efficiency gains across all regions.
Provide input to the project to implement Workday as the company-wide HRIS. Support the management of our existing HRIS systems (Hibob and Workday), ensuring data integrity.
Forge strong collaborations with internal stakeholders across various global business units, including HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal, to ensure seamless and integrated operations.
Ensure our employees, managers, and the wider People function understand the People operations and payroll processes and contact points to deliver an optimal customer experience.
Develop and implement robust internal controls and comprehensive audit procedures for global payroll.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of global payroll legislation and best practices, proactively ensuring our processes remain compliant and highly competitive on an international level.
What You Bring
Extensive experience in international payroll management and people operations, with a demonstrated ability to oversee multi-country payroll environments.
Proven leadership experience, ideally managing a large team of payroll and HR operational specialists in a matrix environment.
Expertise in stakeholder management across geographies with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors.
Demonstrated project management skills in the delivery of HR information systems integration and reengineering of operational processes.
Proficiency in applying process improvement techniques and approaches within a complex international role.
Experience with the implementation and transition of HR systems across multiple geographies. Significant hands-on experience with Workday, specifically its global payroll and HR modules, is highly desirable.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building influential relationships across all levels of a global organization.
Fluency in English is essential; French would be highly beneficial, and any additional European languages are a plus.
A highly proactive and results-oriented approach, driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
