What You'll Do Every Day:

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Driving your domains’ architectural discussions and decisions that align with the overall best practices for distributed microservices architecture.

• Establishes best practices and ensures adherence across the team.

• Establishing and modeling a healthy code reviewing culture that provides constructive peer-feedback and learning opportunity.

• Put together (by collaborating) the technical roadmap and help your team to execute on it.

• Drives major technical decisions, sets standards, and ensures alignment with business goals.

• Guide, mentor, and support engineers to help them grow technically.

• Lead with vision while also being willing to roll up your sleeves for execution.

• Be ready, after some time, to participate in the on-call rotation.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Communication

• Effectively communicates across engineering, product, and business teams.

• Translates complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

A Tech Lead is responsible for both execution and leadership, driving technical direction, mentoring, and strategic decision-making.

Your Specific Technical Skills:

Technical skills

1. 5+ years of experience in back-end development, strong proficiency in back-end programming principles.

2. Experience with Java and Spring.

3. Experience with Databases: SQL, data modeling and query optimization.

4. Familiarity with DevOps practices: Continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD), containerization (Docker, k8s).

5. Experience with testing: Unit testing, integration testing.

6. Understanding of system design and architecture: design patterns, microservices.

7. Architectural Expertise: Designs and implements scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems with a strong focus on long-term impact and quality.

8. Has knowledge and practical experience with secure coding practices and knows how to ensure protection against common vulnerabilities.

Nice to have:

Experience with Kotlin programming language.

Previous experience working with financial systems / billing.
