As Head of Strategic Programs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a global technology organization that is at the forefront of innovation in urban mobility. With the recent acquisition of Flowbird, our mission and responsibilities have grown significantly. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the CTO in leading strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and enabling a high-performing technology team across 80+ countries.
We are seeking a stellar candidate who is highly organized, analytical, and a proactive problem-solver with exceptional leadership and communication skills. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and is passionate about leveraging technology to make cities more livable.
Key Responsibilities
(In partnership & working closely with the Group CTO)
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
Drive cross-functional initiatives, OKR tracking, and follow-through on key decisions from Group’s Executive leadership Team (ELT), Board, and Technology leadership forums.
Partner with the CTO to define, prioritize, and execute the technology organization’s strategic initiatives.
Monitor progress on key projects and ensure alignment with the group’s goals and vision.
2. Operational Excellence:
Working with the CTO and Finance and People & Culture partners oversee the management and reporting on the Technology budget
Oversee the rhythm of the Technology mission, including planning and running leadership meetings, tracking key milestones, and ensuring follow-through on action items on behalf of the CTO.
Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the organization to enhance productivity.
3. Stakeholder Management:
Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between the CTO and key stakeholders across the company, primarily Business Units and Group Functions, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Represent the CTO in internal and external meetings when necessary.
4. Organizational Development & Communications:
Support the growth and development of a world-class technology team by fostering collaboration, culture, and innovation.
Co-lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness, in collaboration with People & Culture
Drive the communication and engagement initiatives for the Technology function including the design of the All-Hands meetings
Serve as a central coordination point for communication across the CTO’s direct reports and their teams; draft and refine strategic messaging.
5. Fostering Technical Eminence and Thought Leadership:
Support the further development of and help adopt a strategic plan to position the global technology organization as thought leaders in the urban mobility industry.
Curate and manage a calendar of internal and external communications, including social media posts, blogs, and speaking engagements, focusing on strategic, competitive, and industry-influencing topics.
Collaborate with technology leaders and marketing teams to craft impactful messaging that highlights the organization’s innovations, vision, and competitive differentiators.
Drive initiatives to showcase internal technical achievements, foster external visibility, and strengthen the organization’s reputation in the urban mobility and technology industries.
6. Special Projects:
Lead and contribute to high-impact projects that span across product development, engineering, and technology innovation.
Qualifications
Experience:
10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a project management, operational, or leadership role in, preferably technology organizations.
Experience working in global or complex matrixed organizations; experience in urban mobility or related industries is a plus.
Skills:
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and influence at all levels.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment across diverse teams.
