Payroll Specialist

We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our People Platform team. This is more than just a numbers game, it’s about ensuring our employees are supported with timely, accurate, and compliant payroll, every single time.

What You’ll Do

As our Payroll Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert and trusted advisor for all things payroll across the region. You’ll:

Own the payroll process – Manage end-to-end payroll with our 3rd party payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Be the face of Payroll – Provide direct support to employees and line managers, offering guidance on time reporting, taxes, benefits, and leave.
Partner cross-functionally – Work closely with Finance, Legal, and external payroll providers to solve challenges and continuously improve payroll operations.
Ensure compliance – Stay on top of local labor laws, GDPR, occupational safety, and other legal requirements – and ensure we do, too.
Drive improvement – Identify opportunities to make things better, faster, smoother – then help implement them.
Support projects – Jump into global People & Culture initiatives and contribute to building a consistent, unified employee experience at scale.

🔎 What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who’s done this before and done it well. Ideally, you bring:

• 5–10 years of experience in payroll and HR operations, including multi-country payroll.
• Proven expertise in labor laws, compliance, and payroll processes.
• Experience with tools like Visma, Agda PS, Blugarden, or other common payroll systems.
• A knack for solving complex problems and improving processes, you don’t just flag issues, you fix them.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to advise managers and employees alike.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to confidentiality and data accuracy.

Bonus points if you:

• Have worked in a multinational or shared service environment
• Hold a relevant degree or payroll/HR certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional)
