The Role
Role Summary
The People and Culture Systems, Data and Analytics Lead will be instrumental in optimizing our HR technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday, to ensure data integrity, drive advanced analytics, and deliver actionable insights to the People team and business leaders. This role will own the maintenance, reporting capabilities, and data governance for our core HR and Payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead a team that includes the HR Global Process Owner, Reporting /Data Steward, and HRIS Manager, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment of HR technology and data strategies across the team's functions.
- System Ownership & Data Governance (Workday Focus initially): Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday reporting and data management. Establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all HR data across Workday and integrated systems.
- Advanced Reporting and Analytics: Develop, maintain, and automate standard and custom reports, dashboards, and complex queries in Workday and other HR systems (e.g., Prism, Advanced Analytics tools). Translate raw HR data into strategic insights related to headcount, talent acquisition, performance, compensation, and retention.
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Partner with HRIS and IT teams to manage system upgrades, configuration changes, and ongoing maintenance of Workday and other People tech stack elements. Focus on improving system efficiency and user experience.
- Integration Support: Oversee the data flow and integrity between Workday and downstream systems (e.g., Finance, Payroll). Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and system issues.
- Stakeholder Consultation: Collaborate with HR business partners, Finance, and senior leadership to understand their reporting and data needs, providing guidance and delivering analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience working with HR systems and data, with at least 3 years dedicated to Workday (specifically in reporting, calculated fields, and security models).
- Expert proficiency in building advanced reports, dashboards, and calculated fields within Workday. Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or other advanced reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of core HR processes and data concepts (e.g., HCM, Absence, Talent, Compensation).
- Demonstrated experience in data governance, quality control, and data visualization best practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
The role is based in Lodz in Poland.
