The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, autonomous and gloabally minded Head of Programs (Global Parking) to join Arrive's dynamic team in Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a European team of established Program Managers (across parking) programs and projects, and be accountable for overall customer satisfaction, successful delivery of program outputs (products, solutions and services) as well as achieving financial program performance objectives.
This is an exciting time to join the company and for an established Head of Programs
to lead a team managing multiple, innovative, complex and high-worth contracts.
A hybrid role, the successful candidate can be based in, or near to, one of Arrive's key European hubs including; Paris, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm or Besançon.
The role will include travel throughout Europe.
Directing and leading a pan-European team of Program Managers to deliver a portfolio of innovative, complex and high-worth contracts, programs and projects across the Parking space.
Create strong internal cross-functional networks with Country Directors, Head of Countries, Head of Engineering and Head of Product.
Contribution to the development of the Program roadmap in partnership with the COO.
Financial responsibility for the overall P&L of his portfolio, ensuring that they are launched successfully, within deadlines and the quality expected by clients, and in line with the profitability expected by the group.
Contribute to the evolution of continuous improvement processes related to methodologies and deliverables: schedule monitoring, budget keeping, contract review, risk management.
Develop, coach, and support the team in developing skills, problem-solving through a customer-centric approach.
Apply the BU Program Governance: allowing a clear understanding of risk management, contract management, and monitoring of risk mitigation plans reported by the team.
Participate in client negotiations with all or part of his team.
Intervene in crisis management and manage the different levels of project risks.
Be the preferred escalation point for our clients in case of dissatisfaction.
About you
Ability to develop strong relationships and influence customers and decision-makers.
Demonstrates strong leadership, inter-cultural communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrates a results oriented, rigorous attitude and disciplined decision-making.
Ability to take to coach/develop and mentor role the Program Management team.
Your background
Minimum 5+ years experience in a 'Program Director' or 'Head of Programs' role, leading complex program or project management, ideally in parking, automotive or software integration companies.
Experience in the direct management of a team of Project/Program Managers.
Ability to understand and align the broader objectives of the program with business and strategic goals.
Strong business acumen - financial management and budgeting skills, negotiation skills, including contract negotiations.
Bachelor degree or similar experience in a technical field or business administration (PMP certification highly preferred).
