The Role
The Field Service Technician is a critical point of contact for on-site customer support, specializing in the installation, preventative maintenance, and reactive repair of Arrive parking equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality control standards for all field service activities and operates under the direction of the Service Operations Manager.
The role is based in Timisoara and requires approximately 60% travel around Romania.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to parking equipment to defined standards.
Address basic PC-related issues and set up computer systems for operation.
Promote a service-minded, client-oriented approach focused on the customer experience.
Maintain a professional demeanor and promote the company at all times.
Communicate effectively with all staff levels, both verbally and in writing, and escalate major issues to the management team as necessary.
Ensure timely completion of all required documents to agreed company standards.
Manage company stock and equipment, ensuring it is kept in good order and liaising with the stores department for satisfactory spare parts allocation.
Maintain a smart appearance and conform to all onsite Health & Safety (H&S) rules.
Assist with the implementation of new equipment or the upgrade of existing equipment, including occasional installation work.
Organize response calls to meet defined response targets.
About You
The ideal candidate is self-organized, motivated, and a strong self-starter who uses their initiative. You must have proven customer service skills to effectively deal with customers and company staff at all levels. You should be keen to develop, punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, energetic, confident, and possess a proactive, can-do attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a good level of core IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Google applications (including Word and Excel).
Your Background
You must possess an electrical engineering background with a relevant electrical qualification. You are required to hold a full, clean driving license. Proficiency in Romanian (native) and English (intermediate) is necessary for this role.
