Senior Product Director
We’ve signed up to an ambitious journey. Join us!
As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities, it isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen. Our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.
The Role
Right now, urban mobility is often a fragmented puzzle of hardware, software, and payments. At Arrive, we are building the missing piece.
As the Senior Product Director for the Transport Business Unit, you will lead the critical operational transition from bespoke, fragmented transit projects to a unified, scalable Product Portfolio. We are currently navigating a high-intensity turnaround environment. You will serve as the architect of our product-led future by overseeing the convergence of Hardware (Devices), Fintech (Open Payments), and Software (Ticketing & Digital).
You must bring strong transformation capability to move the business away from a fragmented project/services organization toward a product-led platform business with significantly better delivery speed, standardization, accountability, and product discipline.
Core Responsibilities
The "Standard Product" Crusade: Shift the BU from a "Services/Project" house to a "Product" house. Your success is measured by how many agencies use our Standard Core versus costly, custom-coded forks.
Ruthless Prioritization & Cross-Functional Governance: Actively push back cross-functionally where needed. You must be able to stop a sales team or municipality from constantly forcing one-off features into the roadmap and be comfortable saying "no" to protect long-term platform strategy.
Delivery Acceleration & Accountability: Dramatically accelerate delivery speed and improve execution performance. You will be responsible for creating urgency and strict accountability within teams historically used to missing deadlines.
Unified Transit Experience: Bridge the gap between physical hardware (on-bus/at-gate validators) and the digital passenger experience (mobile ticketing, MaaS, and real-time data).
Strategic Tender Leadership: Partner with the sales team to represent our product portfolio to win large-scale operator and agency tenders by solving their problems—without resorting to bespoke engineering commitments.
The Organization You Will Lead
You will oversee a multi-layered organization structured to balance global standardization with local market needs:
Product Experience & Strategy: Heads of Experience owning the vision for Ticketing, Pay As You Go, and Digital.
Domain Execution: Product Managers (Functional) owning backlogs for specific modules (Devices, Backoffice, Data & Payment).
Market & Commercial Fit: Market Product Managers and Business Analysts dedicated to specific geographies and tender gap analysis to minimize costly "one-off" customizations.
Release & Operations: Delivery Managers packaging releases and synchronizing hardware and software updates.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Product ROI: Profitability of product lines vs. R&D investment.
Standardization Rate: Ratio of "Standard Product" features used in projects vs. custom developments.
Time-to-Market & Predictability: Efficiency from concept to "Ready for Rollout" status and the elimination of routinely missed timelines.
Win Rate: Success of the product value proposition in strategic tenders.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 10+ years in Product Management leadership (Transport, Fintech, or complex IoT/SaaS sectors) , with proven first-hand experience successfully transforming fragmented organizations and leading high-intensity turnaround environments.
Resilience & Influence: Demonstrated cross-functional influence. You must have the ability to drive difficult operational and platform trade-offs under pressure, especially when dealing with commercial leaders.
Execution over Concept: A strong bias for decisive execution and aggressively driving standardization, rather than relying solely on extended investigation and conceptual frameworks.
Leadership & Culture Change: Deep capability in driving organizational change, resetting team cultures, and building high-performance product-led operating cultures.
Technical & Regulatory Literacy: Comfortable discussing cloud architecture, payment ecosystems, and transit-specific regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR).
Languages: Fluency in English is a must; if you speak French, that’s a massive plus for our international collaboration.
The "Differentiator"
You have a track record of taking a fragmented "Project-based" company, materially accelerating its delivery capability, and building a Universal Transit Platform that scales globally across different modes of transport (Bus, Rail, Tram).
This role is a key leadership pillar for our European operations. You can be based in either our Paris or London office. Given the international nature of the Transport BU and our mission to drive synergies across the Arrive group, you should expect regular travel to collaborate with our global offices and clients.
Recruitment Process:
All applications will be carefully reviewed. If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to a video interview with a Recruiter. After evaluation, the successful candidates will be contacted for an interview with the Hiring Manager.
